so I"ve incorporated my first hack over on k2h. I added the TIME to the recent posts in the form Date-HourMin
a tad ugly, but it gets the info across. maybe if I care later I'll do a quick function to limit the string length so some lines arn't longer than others and if the string is longer than what can be shown I'll replace the last 2 characters with .. or something. w3Schools.com was a good reference. you guys want me to hack this or you guys gonna step up and do it right?

Maybe the "programmers" consider it an opprotunity for the EE's to learn how the world works. To me you are just an abstraction layer. I request more comments, more comments show up, therefore I added more comments to the sidebar :) kinda like management.
management is usally promoted to the highest level of incompetancy.. In your case i'll give you the benefit if the doubt and do it for you with the expressed (not orally implied) understanding that you were incompetant.
I found a bug in a FOR loop that didn't alow more than 10 to be shown. I fixed that so now we are at 15 'recent' posts.
