Okay, so I know you boys have a separate post regarding what you want to do for this years project (and oh, just a reminder, last year you beat the stuffing out of a recliner, among other things), but I'd like to talk logistics. When do y'all expect to arrive and depart? Any thoughts regarding food? Kaleb and Tammie Knauff (formerly Tammie Hood) and Tammie's mom are probably coming for Thanksgiving dinner itself (and Tammie wants to do the turkey, to which I give my glad blessing). I'm thinking that we'll probably go fairly low-key again but wondering if anyone has any thoughts they'd like to mention.

well it will take us 6 hrs to get there so we are still trying to decide if we are going to sneak off wendesday from work early or just leave early morning thursday.
as for food! yay food! i'll bring some pies (you can never have too many pies). i was thinking of a couple pumpkin, a sweet nut pie like pecan, and another (accepting votes: apple, grape cranberry, sweet potato, apple cranberry, blueberry, blueberry raspberry...)
i'll also bring a large bottle of whipping cream to whip (definately can't have too much of that)
i was also thinking of bringing dinner rolls? but don't have a particular penchant for that. i'll probably bring a relish tray (celery, celery with peanut butter, carrots, olives, pickles, cherry tomatoes)
kevin and alodia leaving spokane 12pm wednesday.
we'll pick up dave in collegeplace about 2.75 hours later, and then drive the remaining 4 hours to boise.
we hope to be there like 8pm your time, but we'll see how it goes.
i'm brining a paint sized can of individually wrapped chocolate candies, my computer and 19" monitor (maybe 17", haven't decided yet) for some unreal tournament 2k4 -
we'll have to check with alodia on what food she plans on.
i know keith and jen have seen the increadibles, and i plan on seeing it before i go to boise, so maybe we'll have to find another chair to beat up. that was great.
Bring your snowshoes maybe will get a chance to burn some calories. Anyone wann go for a bike ride?
Who's gonna bring the come along, I figure I'll pick up some 2x4's this weekend and that'll be my contribution.
Also, anyone interested in doing a half-shaft on the mazda?
which half? the good half or the broken half?
if I get by harbor freight i'll try and get a real come-along for $10, but no gurantees.
arghhh this turned into the post about you "guys'" project. it was supposed to be about arrival times and food!
btw i still think making fireworks would be way more fun than launching things with rubber hosing.
Leanna has generously decided to make her bedroom (with an actual bed!) available to the first couple to arrive at our house. Let that serve as incentive for y'all. Please note, no member of this household accepts any liability for your safety or any tickets you may incur (or anything else for that matter; we don't like liability).
hey! now wait a minute. i thought that leanna's generousity was on a rotating schedule and last year kev & alodia were the recipients, as i recall, so wouldn't that make it our turn? =)
Hehe. Leanna didn't live at our house last year, so her generosity and conditions had nothing to do with it. :) She did mention that chocolate is excellent as a bribe.
chocolate seems weighted as well. isn't kev the one with the chocolate paint can?
I guess you'll just have to up the ante. :)
jen says she will make 1 pie just for leanna, it will be her very own.
Leanna wonders if it might be a cherry pie?
so does a chocolate pie gurantee leannas bed (without leanna) for jen and I?
as far as I'm concerned, Keith and Jen are free to have the bed. it's not worth fighting over... besides, you don't have to have a bed to sleep, or lie around, or do other things...
hardy har har
good luck getting away with it.
i'll take a peice of that action.
