Anyone know how to find the origin of an 800# without calling it? I missed a call on my cell yesterday and am curious to where it came from but haven't called it back... I searched online - no luck. Am thinking about calling back on a pay phone.

hmm.. I'm not completely sure you can find out the origin of an 800#. maybe if its a real brand name company you can search for the 800# on the net (just type it in) and it will bring you to the reputable people. BUT if that doens't yield much I really doubt they are reputable. there is the off chance that someone called you with a calling card and it listed the 800# as the return number (the number of the calling card company) who knows.....
yeah.. call it from a cell phone and disguise your voice 'just in case' =)
its probably some kind of legit call since I don't think telemarketers can call your cell (at least not yet)
i meant pay phone... jen is distracting me so bad I can't even type straight. shey yttyyytuj6
see that! look at that! she totally screwed up my jury duty registration form. I can't belive it. she wrote in the box that said DO NOT WRITE IN... I think they'll keep me off the jurry since Its obvsious I can't follow directions (even though it wasn't me) and in not follow directions I think that would mean theres no way i'm gonna fall for same lame lawyer argument... so that means i'm not an impartial jurror...
I wonder If i can fit that all in this little box that says why I can't be an impartial jurror?
testing for most recent post so I can fix the bloggerhack sidebar that shows most recent posts (posted fri, 7:20pm PST) or is it PDT now? someone tell me are we in daylight savings time now or not cause I drive to work when its dark and return when its dark so if we are saving daylight I"m not getting any of it.
For you, it is PST. Daylight savings just ended. For us, it is MST.
no daylight saved here.
most of it has run out of the bottle.
come back next spring.
Boring turn out - same number called again this time I saw it to answer it - was just my cell company calling to make sure everything was ok. Offered a discount if I signed on for 2 more years... I didn't... not sure if I'll be moving might be nice to have a local # where ever I move too if I do.
