art

today we stopped at the museum. I asked the security guard if I could take a few snapshots and they said it was fine as long as I didn't use a flash. so, I got the following. my question to you nerds is WHAT IS THE WHITE THING WITH 2 RED STIPES? you see, all of us are convinced we know what it is and it is two VERY different things so the only way to settle this is the good ol' democratic way. highest vote wins. after I get a few guesses i'll post what we think it is. I don't want to bias the responses upfront.

it looks like the knee/leg of someone. this was all I could see at first and now it looks to me as a bowling pin. there is still a person in this house that can't see the bowling pin. does anyone else see it as a knee/leg?

yes, I see a leg. and to the right of the leg, i see a dead person lying there. kinda creepy.

I see a bowling pin. I can sort of think of it as a leg but the lack of connection to anything else signals to my brain that it's something else.

have any of you guys seen the 'christmas movie' the one where the kid has/wants a red rider bee-bee gun. gets his tounge stuck on the flag pole, and his dad has that HIDEOUS leg lamp?!! thats the kind of leg I see.

[I removed the previous comment because I spelled movie wrong. now thats just wrong.]

I can kinda see a leg but really don't see anything - does the painting have a title? Any info on it?

i'm sure it does, but I think its more fun to not be mislead by the artist.

Hey, it's me again... second visit. I think that it might be some prop from the set of 'Dr. Seuss' The Cat in the Hat'?

I could see that. [cat in the hat]. I hadn't seen it that way. I like that better than the 'leg'
