my brother was showing me some screenshots that people have posted of the new KDE not yet released. and i found this one particularly interesting. personally i like it WAY better than the blue screen of death.

not as informative, but a whole lot more to the point for the general populus. nice.
the screen of death needs a link to click for info. most likely you just configure KDE to dump the real problem to some file somewhere and you read it when you reboot. best of both worlds. the users know it broke, and the developer gets all the info they need to fix the problem. who knows, maybe its posts the crash file to the open source community and the patch will be auto downloaded with the fix for your crash is built.
