what gets me is how it looks so tiny in the video, but the photos make it look like a full size turbine
looks like the fiberglass failed. should have made it out of aluminum, or at least the stand.
they could have avoided this by slowing it down (maybe) one method would be adding mechanical governors, or better yet, increase the voltage in the field and make the generator do more work (make more electricity) to slow it down.
