two cables that route traffic (internet and other telecom) from india and the middle east have been cut. the interesting thing is that right now people are not saying anything about terrorism. with a weak economy in the states i wonder how cutting our connection with india will impact the economy. we still depend a great deal even for the internet on corporate owned pipelines in a few key areas and so it seems to me the real terrorism would be to bring down key things. like the computers that control domain names.
