the popup video like VH1 of yesteryears is awesome; check out
orange
the guy that plays orange is Ed Alleyne-Johnson, see one of his live street performances on utube.
if i get an account or something can I dl the mp3's? jen got me a player for christmas (still being shipped) and i'm going to need some good tunes for it.
thanks for the links to Ed Alleyne-Johnson's music. that is now at the very top of my list for instrumental. AWESOME.
ok, ok, one more comment on Alleyne-Johnson. according to the all knowing wikipedia he has been a street performer for the past 20 years, using modified amps to run off batteries (and a pretty sweet recorder if i do so say myself). the best part is (and this is how legends are born)
"He uses an electric violin which he carved with a kitchen knife"
-yeah, reference pending on that kitchen knife idea. given his discussion on his myspace page with the rechargeable battery street amp, i'd not put it past him.
on thesixtyone.com you can dl some music, if the artist has approved it. Ed has approved one of the three for download, and unfortionatly orange is not one of them. i'm sure firebug in firefox will tell you which calls are being made to which files (possible even through flash) and you can just attach to the file directly for download. firebug rocks.
