I've been telling everyone I feel a little dirty, and no one really understands why. you see, all my life i've criticized the California drivers and i really don't want to join the club... the club of people that has CA on the license plate. not that I think i'm a bad driver, or that I may become a bad driver (i probably will), I just feel a little piece of my soul is given in homage to the san-andreas fault for living here.

i wasn't even near California, but tonight tarnished my perfect record of never being pulled over. i was doing 10 over. complied by giving all the appropriate registration, liscence, and insurance. got off with a warning. perhaps it was the fact i pulled WAAYYY off the road (my left tires were still on pavement, barely), or didn't try to complain or give some crap excuse.
I was worried about the poor driving skills in CA as well. As it turns out the drivers in Illinois are even worse than CA. So things aren't always what then seem.
I was in San Jose a couple of weeks ago for work and I made sure to drive like a native... Sometimes you've got to give it some gas to turn onto a 50mph express way from a side street. I was happy the little Rav 4 I got for a rental car had some get up and go :).
mobile house ABANDONED on LA freeway. yeah. he may have had the permit, but the hamster was not running at full speed.
