Way Cool Printing

i'm probably the only nerd that regularly prints journal articles, but this may be useful for something else too.
using the printer drivers that hp supplies, i can print my own little booklet of the article. instead of printing one sided full page of the article it will print two sided booklet. once at the print pop-up i select properties. then finishing. change to two pages on one paper. two-sided printing (manual in my case) and booklet. instructions come up on how exactly to move the first sheets printed back into the paper tray for the other side to be printed upon. then ta-da. fold your sheets together and it is like a little book. so cool.

I printed about 10 articles last night in preperation for a presenation i'm giving at school. I was a little happy about the number of squirrels I displaced from completing hte process

Seems like I've also come across this in the past. I'm a big fan of 4 pages to a sheet when possible, though I have only been doing one-sided.

Mostly unrelated, but this also reminds me of PocketMod, which I've been meaning to look into.

Okay, I just played with PocketMod and I am infatuated. :) What fun! And they have the dot game. In any case, it's a smart way of making an 8-page booklet out of a standard sheet of paper that I may have known at one point but forgot.

most of the time at work I'll do 2 per page and print it 2 sided if I have a lot of pages...
