Cool music video
Jack Johnson - Sitting, Waiting, Wishing. Maybe not the most technologically advanced video but I think it’s cool.
Don't know how well this link will work - I saw video on tv but thought I'd offer something. www.jackjohnsonmusic.com/uploads/videos/sww.htm

Happy St. Patrick's day?
There's a lady I know who loves St. Patrick's day. Purely for the joy of getting to pinch people! She loves to wander around watching for anyone who is not wearing green. Then she runs up and pinches them! And most of the time they have no idea why... People resort to clipping on green pens or paper clips, taping green paper onto themselves, or grabbing a piece of green plant to avoid the pinch. Luckily I just happened to decide to wear a green shirt today, otherwise I would have probably gotten pinched.
I have never been pinched by her. And I don't know why her pinching people bothers me so. But it really does. She's a middle age woman, loving to pinch people. It's like, I'm not in 3rd grade anymore. This was fun/funny then, but it's not so much now.
Besides, in 3rd grade you kick them in the shins when they pinch you. I somehow don't think I could get by with that now...

final events
i've had the oportunity of reviewing a new dvd from Amazing Facts.
The Final Events of Bible Prophecy
It's 43:36 minutes long, and hosted by Doug Batchelor.
the rest of the dvd is packed with bible study goodies.
At first I was taken back by the early 90's style graphics, but the message of the presentatin was steller. i recommend it to everyone.
I've heard churches buying these up for evangelism (one in our area orded about 17,000 dvds - i guess it made an impression)
check out http://www.finalevents.com/ for more info. and the teaser here: http://www.finalevents.com/preview.asp
Me? i'm taking this baby next door and showing it to Jim.

I have how much longer?!
We have two people at work who are retiring this year, one at the end of this month. She sends email every so often letting us know she has x # of days left to work... A week or two ago it was 12 working days.
So, I started thinking about how many more days I had to work. Assuming I get to retire at 65, I have well over 7,500 days to work - or 39 more years. (This is assuming I will not have children, which is highly unlikely.) It was depressing. Some people are ending, and here I am just beginning... seems like it will be forever.
So, how many more days do you have to work?

Should we party or mourn?
According to Google, it's International Women's Day
I'm not rightly sure what this does for me/against me as a woman, but apparently it's quite important in places other than my little world...

passion
Last night at our Bible study, one of our questions to ponder and answer was "what are you passionate about?"
so, I pose the same question to you: "what are you passionate about?"
