microsoft seems to be copying google labs by making some kind of lab of their own. this one is working on creating 3d environments from 2d stills. from the look of it, the idea is to load in your picture collection and it extrapalotes 3d environments of the places you've been and let you walk through it. now I can finally justify all those 360deg panaramics I've been shooting!
