according to this new york times article, men's pleasure center in the brain is activated when people recieve just punishment. but women's brains don't show the same activity. women show sympathy. that means, to me, that mothers can still say, "this hurts you more than it hurts me," but fathers can't.

i think thats a bunch of hog-wash. what is 'just punishement' anyway? in some cultures death would be just for certain sins, while in others its against the law to give someone a spanking. like I said.. hog-wash.
