Everyone seems so concerned about the RC range... time to hook this puppy up to a cell phone/modem, maybe one for flight control and a second for the camera. They're small enough... the latency would be tricky for landing and stuff, but for just flying to a destination it would be fine.
that's an awesome idea. I'd wondered about ham with repeaters and what not, but the cell phone is liscence-free, and in large areas (think california) this could go for hundreds of miles.
it doesn't have to break a window. how about just crashing into a stop light and screwing up an intersection for an afternoon? or buzzing a crowd in a football stadium could cause some reactions.

ReplyDeleteprepaied wireless and a 20$ phone payed for in cash creates a remote control version of 9/11, but wihtout the need to kill your soldiers.
